Illustration Options

Authors may bring completed illustrations, collaborate with their own illustrator, or work with Sea Star’s in-house art team. We can recommend artists, create storyboards, and manage the full illustration process from concept to final art.

Timeline

On average, 12–16 weeks when illustrations are already complete, covering editorial, design, proofreading, and publication.

Where full illustrations are commissioned, plan approximately four months for art development (character studies, thumbnails, storyboards, finals), followed by the 12–16-week production window for editing, layout, proofreading, and release. Actual timing varies with illustration complexity, revision cycles, and the number of formats delivered.

Pricing

Every project receives a custom quote following a Discovery Call.
